Warranty, Repairs and Returns Process
Please note: we will not, as a standard matter of course, offer a refund or exchange if you have changed your mind or chosen incorrectly. Please ensure that you select your products carefully and that they are compatible with your requirements prior to buying. Any returns outside of faults or warranty will attract a $50 restocking fee and freight cost/tracking will be the responsibility of the buyer.
All Goods provided through Taurus have a 24 month guarantee against manufacturers fault. We reserve the right to repair or replace at our discretion.
Should you have an issue with one of our products contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include pictures and a clear explanation of the problem, by doing so, we can determine if it is a quality issue or has been accidentally damaged through use. We do however undertake to repair any product accidentally damaged, subject to the product being repairable. This does not included coverage for the loss of componentry or cost of freight.
If you do send your products to us, please include your details clearly with the product so that we can contact you once we receive the goods.
If you are shipping an item over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
The Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act provides the basis for Taurus returns policy.
The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Taurus In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.
Fair Trading Act 1986
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.
